You know that feeling you get when you meet certain people? The one that says you’re going to have fun, no matter what? It’s rare and wonderful—and it’s exactly how I felt when I met Brian and Sue.

We first connected back in 2017 (feels like eons ago, doesn’t it?). They were visiting the area from Ohio and hoping to start looking for their forever home.

This house had to be “extra special” to convince them to make the move to Florida. They would be leaving behind a lifetime’s worth of memories, familiar places, family, and friends in Ohio.

I mean, let’s be real. Moving is tough, but when you’ve lived in one spot for a long time, it’s really challenging. Not only are you leaving your known life behind, but there’s so much organizing, packing, cleaning, and repairing to do before you hit the road. The process can feel insurmountable, especially if you’ve never done it before.

Fortunately, we found the perfect house for Brian and Sue, and in May 2018, they officially called it home!

Their place is a beautiful waterfront house on Santa Rosa Sound. They wake up every morning to the most stunning views. They can drop their boat in the water and go for a ride at the push of a button. No more trailering to the ramp! It’s seriously the perfect place for them and an idyllic spot for their loved ones to visit.

Over the last six years, Brian and Sue have asked me to help many of their friends find houses here on the Emerald Coast. They have such amazing community members, and I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know them and helping them find their forever homes, too.

I’m so grateful to Brian and Sue for trusting me with their house search years ago and for supporting me and my business to this day. It’s a blessing to stay connected to clients who have become friends!
